We have used Jared for a number of projects with the latest being by far the biggest, involving a significant addition, alterations and complete renovation of our home. We have always been impressed by Jared’s quality workmanship and his professionalism from the start to the finish of each project.

Jared was recommended to us by a family friend. During the build process we were continually impressed and thankful for Jared’s helpful and flexible attitude, with Jared often raising issues of practicality over design or providing guidance where needed on key decisions to ensure that we ended up with the best possible end result.
Two key things which stood out with our renovation and Jared’s involvement.
Firstly, the numerous comments from other tradesmen as to the quality of the workmanship. An example of this being the painter, a meticulous and qualified tradesman, who commented that when painting he always knows how good the builder is by the quality of the finishing. He felt that Jared’s was excellent.

Jared’s role also involved the organising and managing of the sub trade work on site. He gained and maintained the respect of the sub-trade contractors, encouraging them to work to the same high standards that he strived for.
Jared was instrumental in this process and his contribution directly relates to the success of the end result. The house has since gone on to win a New Zealand Institute of Architects award for architecture.
Jared is an excellent builder who takes great pride and care in his work. We would have no hesitation in working with Jared on future projects.

Jared thinks ahead and plans his work before commencing. He anticipates potential issues that may arise with details and junctions and prepares his work with care. Jared has maintained good communication with my practice, with the owners and with the neighbours adjacent to the property during this project.
